Ahhh...warm weather...looking forward to that myself.
I like the panoramic software. I usually try this while at Disney. I like to capture the Epcot World Showcase as it's one of my favorite places and brings good memories. Love the Boardwalk too for panoramic. Brings great memories if you can see the whole scene better.

For panorama pictures I have been using AutoStitch. It is free (Windows only, as far as I know) in a unlimited simple "Demo" version. It is also licensed by some commercial software.
The nice thing with AutoStitch is that you can take a large number of pictures to stitch together. You are not limited to one layer. I have some pictures where I used 2 or 3 layers vertically and 8 or 9 pictures across.
